While involved in a life-long study of the martial arts Mr. Chung concurrently studied and practiced acupuncture and the healing arts in his native Korea. Upon meeting his future wife Chae in 1984 he was astonished by her incredible success with patients with so-called incurable diseases. This spurred him to delve even deeper into the healing arts. In 1989 Mr. Chung immigrated to the United States where he graduated from Samra University of Oriental Medicine in Los Angeles. Upon settling in Apple Valley he is very excited to have opened Light of Life-The Center for Oriental Medicine with his wife Chae.

As a third generation practitioner of the Oriental Healing Arts, Mrs. Chung began her healing studies as a young girl. She apprenticed with world renowned masters of some of the more esoteric and lost aspects of Oriental Medicine. Her GENUINE Healing Message and Cupping skills are especially noted throughout the world and she is very well known for her success with the more chronic and seriously ill patients. Mrs. Chung is now the head supervisor and teacher of the Art of Healing at Light of Life-The Center for Oriental Medicine.
Mr. Minion began his studies of the Asian culture and Martial Arts in 1970. Concurrent with a career in theatre and film where he incorporated his interests in Oriental Philosophy and Medicine with projects around the world and for televison and film studios, Mr. Minion began his Internal Martial Arts studies in 1987. He began his Acupuncture studies at Samra University and eventually graduated from Dongguk Royal University in Los Angeles. Mr. Minion was one of the founding members of the Qigong Alliance in Chicago, IL. He has studied with Kenneth Cohen, Yang Jwing Ming, Lawrence Galante, Mary Chow, and Terry Dunn.
